Who are NAPIT?

NAPIT are a Government approved registration body for the Electrical Industry.

Comprised of NAPIT Registration, Certification, Services, Inspection, Training, and the NAPIT Trade Association, the NAPIT Group has been established for over 20 years and has grown to become a nationwide organisation working across five different markets.

What NAPIT do

NAPIT Certification operate a UKAS-accredited Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for renewable energy installers.

NAPIT Registration provide membership onto one of today’s fastest growing Government-approved Competent Person Schemes (CPS) for Building Regulations in England and Wales for installers working in the electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation industries

NAPIT membership offer installers a wide range of member benefits such as: NAPIT Training, providing excellent courses to help tradesmen gain industry-recognised qualifications and NAPIT Insurance, who offer a high quality insurance service.

NAPIT ensures that consumers have access to competent, professional and qualified electricians and recognise our members’ qualifications and skills through the ElectricSafe Register.

What is the ElectricSafe Register?

The ElectricSafe Register was launched by NAPIT in 2012 as a register of competent electricians in England and Wales.

The register is free to join for any member of an electrical Competent Person Scheme provider, such as NAPIT.
